San Diego Children's and Newborn Baby Photographer | Little Sprout Photography

Friends and fellow photographers, the Donovons, asked for a quick photo session to get a few family photos with their daughter, Penny. In just over 20 minutes, we covered several spots at Discovery Lake in San Marcos and only had one run-in with a swarm of mosquitoes. :)

Penny was one of the happiest babies we’ve ever shot — she squealed and laughed whenever I held up her animal glove. A few of our favorite photographs are below.

Baby Ethan has the sweetest, most angelic face and I can’t get over the super cute curled toes. Ethan had his own ideas about posing – he even lifted his little week-old head all the way up as he got himself out of a pose and got back to his favorite curled up position. Ethan, you are one strong boy. We enjoyed meeting you and seeing your wonderful parents again.

Meet little Chloe, who slept and slept and slept through the whole session! Between her sleepiness and the great light we had in two different rooms, we were able to capture a number of different poses. Thanks Chloe!

Little four month old Ava has the most gorgeous cheeks. We had such a lovely time outside, but I was thrilled to go back inside to catch some sleeping baby shots. So sweet.

This shoot was so much fun! In addition to being irresistibly cute, six month old Summer was the easiest-going and happiest baby. She looks adorable in her grandmother’s dress and bonnet.
Thanks, Summer, for brightening my day. I could have spent all day on this shoot!
