The tub was a little too full, the bubble bath was set, and Ainsley slipped back so just her face was poking out. I grabbed the camera, pointed the flash up at the ceiling, and grabbed a few shots — this one being the best of the bunch. Cracks me up every time I look at it. Ainsley seems to get a kick out of it, too.
Keira is a gorgeous girl. She was awake, but perfectly happy and calm for most of the shoot. Once we went outside, she fell fast asleep. Most babies love being outside — I’m glad the winter weather gave us such a lovely mild morning.
Our last shoot of the year was fantastic all-around – great model, wonderful family, to-die-for lighting. It was a little cold, but one year old Austin was full of smiles and fantastic eye-contact, and he did great with all of our location changes. The scenery was so gorgeous, I couldn’t help but take a minute to gaze at the light coming through the clouds and watch the sun set.
We had the pleasure of photographing Presley just before her first birthday. Presley was a darling, happy girl with a large repertoire of looks and expressions and lovely eyes. We had fun with lots of outfit changes and Presley was a sweetheart and just went with it (even smiling while wearing the hair clip that she wasn’t too keen on).
Week-old Luke was sweet-as-pie and sleepy, sleepy, sleepy. He was a terrific model and is a lovely addition to this wonderful family. Congratulations, Jen! I’m so happy for all of you.
