Gabrielle reminded me so much of my little girl – sweet, pensive, beautiful, and shy. Her little half smile is so sweet, and I love the way she snuggles into mom. Some of my favorite pictures of my own are shots of us snuggling. Those shots really mean a lot, especially as they grow older. :-)
This was our third time photographing the H family, and each shoot is easier and more fun than the last. Because Jonny and Steven play so well together, it was easy to get lots of great images at two different locations. The wonderful light didn’t hurt, either.
This was a fun shoot with a great family. Addisen was slow to warm to the camera, but after several renditions of The Itsy Bitsy Spider and some time playing with finger puppets, she was a natural. We ended the shoot in their fantastic, large yard in the golden hour just before sunset. Thank goodness they waited a few weeks to mow the yard – it made for the perfect location, right in their own backyard.
Madison is a gorgeous girl with lovely deep brown eyes. I’m so glad we were able to capture her in her element and highlight her energy, curiosity, and her beautiful features.
This was our third year photographing these beautiful brothers. We have gone to the beach each shoot – capturing different light each time. This time we had the brilliant sunset colors kissing the photos – can’t beat that.
