Our last shoot of the year was fantastic all-around – great model, wonderful family, to-die-for lighting. It was a little cold, but one year old Austin was full of smiles and fantastic eye-contact, and he did great with all of our location changes. The scenery was so gorgeous, I couldn’t help but take a minute to gaze at the light coming through the clouds and watch the sun set.

It had been exactly 365 days since we had last photographed Josh and Jaden. We had a ball with them in their amazing back yard and at the beach. I think this every time I hold a baby that we photograph and I thought this on this amazing sunny January day at the beach – this has to be the best job.

We had a great time with the H family a few weeks ago. Our first attempt was rained out, but we were rewarded with a beautiful sunny day on our second try! The boys had so much fun exploring the park and playing at the beach.

Gorgeous 1 year old Kyra has the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes! She experienced pure joy in her new walking skills and it was a pleasure to be a part of that.

We feel so lucky to have been a part of special moments in Kayvan and Steph’s lives. We went to their wedding, photographed Steph so full of life at 37 weeks into her pregnancy, and we will be meeting their baby girl, Mackenzie, soon. This was such a fun maternity shoot and we couldn’t be happier for them!
